Home Hospice Care Program

As one of the first hospices in New Jersey, the Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care recognizes the need for the program to be spiritually grounded. It answers a need for quality care that all people hope for and deserve, as they journey from this life to the next.

The Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care provides a support team for people reaching the most frightening juncture of their lives. The hospice team includes a doctor, nurse, social worker, spiritual counselor, homemaker or home health aide, volunteers and grief support counselors.

Most importantly, the Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care brings a sensitivity born of personal experience to the physical, social and spiritual changes that accompany the patient's journey.

It is this remarkable sensitivity and true understanding that set the staff apart from many other caregivers. The former convent of St. Elizabeth's Church in Linden is the headquarters for the staff and volunteers. A staff of 120 and an active volunteer base of over 200 provides the necessary services for the patient and family with medical personnel available around the clock.
