Fees and Reimbursement

Although variable, most insurance plans contain a benefit for home and hospice health care services. If you require assistance in determining your options for coverage, call the Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care office at (908) 889-7780.

Since its beginning, the Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care has never turned away a patient because of an inability to pay for services. The Center receives reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance and many HMOs. If there is no resource for reimbursement, care will be provided on a sliding scale. In this instance the expense for care is supplemented by state and county funds, memorial contributions and donations.

Hospice Care Criteria:

  • Limited life expectancy.
  • Desire to remain at home.
  • Referral from patient, patient's family, physician, nurse, social worker or anyone who identifies the need for hospice care.

If you or a family member are considering hospice care, we would be happy to answer any questions you might have, by phone or in person. Please call (908) 889-7780. We are here to help you.

The Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care is a non-profit, non-denominational, non-sectarian program of care. All patients have the right to our services regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, physical challenges or source of payment.
