Theo House - Residential Hospice Facility
Theo House, New Jersey's first residential hospice facility, offers care to individuals that have a terminal illness and do not have a family member who can care for them at home.
The Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to the terminally ill individual and his or her family.

When the situation within the home becomes difficult for the individual and his or her family and they must seek alternative living arrangements, Theo House is the option of choice for Hospice care.

Theo House staff includes physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors, volunteers, home health aides, and homemakers.
The facility is staffed twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week. A resident can choose to remain under the medical care of his or her own physician or retain the service of the hospice staff physician.

Located on the beautiful grounds of the Benedictine property on North Broad Street in Elizabeth, Theo House offers a unique situation for each resident. The resident is free to come and go. Family and friends are welcome to visit on the premises or go out for dinner, a movie, or a drive. Temporary accommodations for visiting families are made available
upon request.
Theo House is named for Sister Theophane, who was instrumental in The Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care acquiring this beautiful residence. There are 8 private suites, a modern kitchen, living room, atrium, sun porch,
laundry room, an outdoor deck, a greenhouse, and a gazebo for the residents to enjoy.
The atmosphere at Theo House is one of comfort and peace, providing each resident with a perfect place for quiet reflection. With the emphasis on quality of life, the resident and family learn to live each day and to have hope for tomorrow.
